Overview
In 2012, Howe & Howe created SWAT-BOT™, a highly mobile, ballistic shield, tracked robot designed to protect an 8-person team from direct gunfire allowing operators a safer, more protected offensive movement. This robot provides effective defensive & offensive abilities in active shooter scenarios, hostage, and standoff situations. After reengineering its original design, SWAT-BOT™ is now all-electric & utilizes some of the same technologies that are in the unmanned ground vehicles used by the U.S. Army & Thermite® firefighting robots.
