Outdoors Again
Howe & Howe believes with success comes responsibility- and part of that responsibility is giving back and partnering with a variety of organizations. Our goal is to make a difference in the community through education initiatives, veteran organizations, community outreach and our philanthropy, Outdoors Again.
COMMUNITY
Howe & Howe is proud to inspire the innovators of tomorrow by supporting middle school and high school STEM and Robotics programs across Maine. These initiatives empower students to explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics through hands-on learning and problem-solving. By fostering curiosity and creativity in young minds, Howe & Howe demonstrates its commitment to building a brighter future for our communities and the industries we serve.
GIVING BACK
Outdoors Again was founded in 2012 after the creation of Howe & Howe’s Ripchair, a tracked all-terrain custom wheelchair. The mission of Outdoors Again is to plan and create outdoor activities that reintegrate wheelchair users and disabled veterans into their community, providing positive, social and stress-free experiences. All activities and events are free to our guests and their families, funded by donations, grants and sponsorships.
In 2018, one of our Board Members and greatest advocates, Tony Tulo, was recognized for his efforts as one of the Top 26 Volunteers in New England; he was presented an award by Robert Kraft at Gillette Stadium, as well as a $10,000 check for Outdoors Again.
